Plays
Ages vary by program
Our popular productions are always fun and educational. We begin with relationship building. Casting will soon follow. All enrolled participants will be cast and may have multiple roles, as we often double-cast to share speaking roles if the cast is large. We want all participants to have a blast and be challenged by their experience!
Note: We do not audition for entry to this program. All registrants will be accepted provided payment has been received, or payment arrangements have been made, and the participant and their parent/legal guardian have signed our Actor’s Agreement and completed our online Info Form/Waiver. We strive to provide a welcoming and safe environment to all children and youth regardless of gender, sex, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, religion, socioeconomic status, neurodiversity, and physical ability.
Our rehearsal process allows for many hours of coaching and guidance in:
acting/performing
dramatic movement
stage combat (not all productions)
theatrical protocols
confidence
COMMITMENT AND EXPECTATIONS
Attendance is an important part of the rehearsal process. Actors work as an ensemble and rely on one another to be there. If an actor will be missing multiple rehearsals or any time during Show Week, they should not register for the program.
Actors and caregivers will be provided with expectations via a mandatory online form and our Actor’s Agreement.

A character-driven Comedy-Drama.
One Stoplight Town is a story about people from a town so small that you might drive through without taking a second look. But if you stopped for just a moment, you might see a young boy and girl fall in love, a cantankerous grocery store owner coping with change, a son returning home while a daughter thinks about leaving, and a handyman taking it all in while he fixes what is broken. These stories and more are filled with fun characters, lots of humor, plenty of heart and the theme that change comes for us all, whether we are ready or not.
One Stoplight Town is to be presented through special arrangement with THE DRAMATIC PUBLISHING COMPANY of Woodstock, Illinois.

What would happen if a 21st century Alice collided with Lewis Carroll’s legendary Wonderland? This modern retelling of the classic children’s story has all of the characters you know and love, including the Mad Hatter, the White Rabbit, and the Queen of Hearts. The story is laid out in traditional style, except that Alice is distinctly contemporary, complete with cell phone in hand. Full of references to text messaging and social media, the play imagines a present-day Alice encountering the Wonderland so many of us treasure. A sharply told, crisply paced ride, this quality adaptation has been praised for its humor, modern style, and appeal to both children and adults.
Winner of the Shubert Fendrich Memorial Playwriting Contest
Alice @ Wonderland is to be presented through special arrangement with Pioneer Drama Service.
