actOUT! is currently seeking:
Show Volunteers
We will be seeking volunteers for our classes and productions in the 2026/27 year.
Fall Musical: Assistant Director, Costuming/Props, Technical volunteers (lighting/sound), possible stage hands
One-Act Play(s): Assistant Director, Assistant Stage Manager, Costuming/Props, Technical volunteers (lighting/sound)
Mini Musical: Assistant Stage Manager, Costuming/Props, Technical volunteers (lighting/sound)
Spring Musical: Assistant Director, Costuming/Props, Technical volunteers (lighting/sound), possible stage hands
Classes: Mini Play, Improv, and various drama/acting classes
Organization Volunteers
Board level (18+)
Directors: serving in an official capacity as a Board member
Board Assistants: Positions working on specific organizational needs.
Advertising
Social Media Management
Fundraising
Event Planning
Web Design/Maintenance
Costuming (16+)
organizing and labelling
mending (fixing seams, replacing zippers, etc)
creating new or replacement pieces (sewing a cloak, for example)
Props (16+)
organizing and labelling
building, painting/refinishing, or fixing items

Please note:
All volunteers 18+ in contact with our participants must provide a Vulnerable Sector Check. actOUT! will provide a letter for this process. This does not apply to volunteers in roles such as usher, box office, concessions, etc. Volunteers who work on costumes, props, and sets do not require a check unless in direct contact with our young participants (for example, fitting or helping with costume changes).
actOUT may restrict younger volunteers from positions where they may be supervising a family member.
