REGISTERED PRODUCTIONS

A registered production means we accept enrolment until the cap number for casting.  We spend the first few rehearsals working together as a full team, script read throughs, character building, movement/vocal work (especially for musicals) before we cast.  EVERYONE is guaranteed casting in a "registered" production.  Being a teaching theatre we also try to maximize stage time and when possible provide opportunities for participants to portray multiple roles which gives them more stage time, learning time and experience at developing diversity in their acting skills.  Participants are also strongly encouraged to contribute in other ways ie. assisting stage crew, assisting other participants etc. as it is a full team effort.

REGISTERED PRODUCTIONS FOR 2013-14

Jungle Book Kids+ for 5-10 years Sept-May

It's a Wonderful Life for 10-17 years Sept-Dec

The Three Musketeers for 10-17 years Feb-May

Disney's Mulan Jr. for 9-15 years Feb-May FULL

AUDITIONED PRODUCTIONS

An auditioned production means hopeful participants will go through an audition process and may or may not be cast in the show.  Since act OUT is often many participants first time going through drama and/or the audition process we try to minimize the stress by auditioning at least 2 people at at time.  When you sign up for an audition you will also be sent your audition requirement information to prepare for your audition day.

If called back after the audition you will be cast in the that production in a minimum of 1 role.

AUDITIONED SHOW for 2013-14

SHERLOCK HOLMES - audition will be booked starting late September 2013 and take place in November 2013 rehearsal/show Jan-Feb 2014

Tuition for our productions includes rehearsal/coaching time, costumes (except undergarments & footwear), legal copy of the script.  Productions also have a Family Commitment Policy.
