This season we offer many opportunities for our young company to learn develop and challenge themselves. ActOUT! is exploring new terrain with our first Shakespeare in the Park, a revival of the Senior Intensive and Musicals sure to whet the appetite of young performers.

ActOUT! productions are open to all levels of ability of actors (new or experienced). Through a well-developed mentoring style program we’re able to incorporate many skill levels into one show. There is always something for everyone. Our directorial team always encourages a positive and inclusive team effort from the very first rehearsal.

Our structured and supervised rehearsal processes allows many hours of coaching and workshops to assist our young company in the:

  • process of acting/performing
  • education of theatrical protocols
  • performance skill development
  • public speaking skill development
  • confidence

...all building on the journey towards our second to none quality final products.  

Please note: Each production requires a Family Commitment to assist with sets, props, costumes and show week. Ability to attend most rehearsals is a must before committing to a production. 

For registered shows all enrolments will be cast until spaces are filled, previous experience not necessary.

This special adaptation of the nine-time Tony Award-winning Broadway musical, Fiddler on the Roof JR. tackles the universal theme of tradition in ways that reach across barriers of race, class, nationality and religion.

The Crucible

Winner of the 1953 Tony Award for Best Play. This exciting drama about the Puritan purge of witchcraft in old Salem is both a gripping historical play and a timely parable of our contemporary society. 

The Crucible is to be presented by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc., New York.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream by William Shakespeare

One of ‘The Bard’s’ most popular works for the stage A Midsummer Night’s Dream is a comedy written in 1595/96 portraying the events surrounding the marriage of Theseus, the Duke of Athens, to Hippolyta, the former queen of the Amazons.

We will develop our own adaptation of this classic play, tailored to our young cast.
